Would you be interested in serving on one of the Alumni Association committees? We would love to have more alumni get involved. There are four active committees that support the board of directors during the year. Please review the description and meeting schedule for each and then rank your preferences below. 

Awards Committee: The Committee shall be charged with verifying the eligibility of the nominees and presenting award candidates to the Board of Directors for selection. 
- Meeting schedule: Recommend a meeting in February/March to solicit nominations and the week prior to the April board meeting to review nominations and make recommendations to the board. An additional meeting or two is possible to plan for October awards ceremony.

Finance Committee: This Committee shall be charged with developing and promoting plans for raising funds for Methodist University and/or the MUAA.
- Meeting schedule: The week prior to each board meeting.

Nominations Committee: This Committee shall be charged with making nominations to fill vacant Board of Director Seats. 
- Meeting schedule: Once a month from October to January 

Social/Outreach Committee: This Committee shall be charged with Homecoming preparations and the planning of other alumni events and activities. 
- Meeting schedule: Once a month from February to October
